There are a lot of painting companies to choose from – many of them specialize in commercial painting or new residential construction. The key and important difference is the level of service and prep required. If you’re looking at having yourhome re-painted, it’s probably showing obvious signs of wear and tear. The caulking is probably cracking in many places. Paint may be peeling or flaking on wood substrates or simply wearing off of the composite siding.
One thing we notice a lot of in Loveland, Fort Collins, Windsor and Greeley is the swelling and cracking of the composite siding. You can see in the photos here that most of the time, these areas need to be primed along with scraping the old loose paint. This project is in Loveland, CO.
Even though overall the house was in good condition, the siding was starting exhibit some of the aforementioned characteristics. So, to be safe, we scraped and primed the areas of concern. Of course, you can see the neat color scheme they opted for. Multiple body colors are gaining popularity and is a trend we think will continue.
